"MaRtoholic" is the first instrumental album by DJ MaRto. It was announced in August 2011 and it's scheduled for release in Spring 2012.
Background and release
DJ MaRto expressed interest in making original music few years ago, while playing on keyboard. Plans for an album occurred in 2010, but were made possible in early 2011 after the release of his first original mix - "Shade Of Darkness". The recordings started in June, 2011.

Title and art
The title of the album (stylized: "MaRtoholic") comes from the DJ's artistic name, which is Bulgarian short for Martin and the urban word "workaholic". As the DJ describes it - MaRtoholic is the condition when you create and you're truly, dizzily dedicated to the art. He also connects it to the melancholic vibes and the nights, because he often comes up with ideas and record them in the early hours in the morning.

Composition and musical style
The album is influenced by various genres but mostly by pop and dance. It features typical pop songs with various techno-inspired break downs."Follow Me" has acid elements which reminds of the Daft Punk style. "Are You Ready" has many techno elements and strings and features second break down before the end. The third track "All Night / That's Right" is a pop song, which has a party feeling and again techno inspired break down. "A Night To Remember" is club-friendly song. "Troubles" is up-tempo dance-energy-pop track. "Embrace of Fate" is electro track inspired by Glitchmobe. "In Return" is a mid-tempo ballad song.
