Personal Life:
Martin Todorov (20) is from Varna, Bulgaria's second biggest city. In his early years he studied in music class in primary school and have taken piano lessons. Now he play on keyboard. Also he was a member of "Varna's Boys Choir'' for 2000-2004 period. He really loves music - creating, mixing and listening. Since 2010 he is a student at University of Economics Varna.
2007-2009: The Mixes,Volume 2 and Stay Fresh
DJ MaRto is an unprofessional deejay and composer from Bulgaria. He started making mixes at the end of 2007 at age of 16.After recording the Cascada's "Miracle" remix, he got inspired and started his first project. After a couple of months, in January 2008, he released "DJ MaRto: The Mixes". The remixes were uploaded in YouTube an year later. Short after that, the Christina Aguilera - Fighter (Aggressive Mix) became popular. Despite that there wasn't promotion and real official release for "The Mixes", DJ MaRto continued recording remixes (in February 2008) and originally had intended to include them on Deluxe Edition of "The Mixes". However, as he was also recording more Bulgarian mixes at the same time, he decided to release new double compilation instead. First was released "DJ MaRto: Vol.2". Three remixes off the volume met success: Mika - Lollipop (Fun Mix), No Doubt - Hella Good (Dance Remix) & Brandy - Afrodisiac (Beat Remix). Meanwhile, Slavi ft.Neli - Samo Men (Remix), one of the new Bulgarian remixes released by that time, became the most popular Bulgarian remix of the DJ. "DJ MaRto: Vol.2 (Bg Edit)" was released two months later in August 2008.
In September the DJ started new recordings and announced his third international compilation (fifth overall). The title: "Stay Fresh" was revealed in January 2009. He continued releasing remixes from the compilation, followed by it's release in December 2009. One of the first released remixes by that time, the "Nelly ft.Fergie - Party People (Remix)" reached 8600 views in YouTube, just for 24 hours and later became the most popular remix of the DJ to date with over half million views.
2010-present: Extended Plays,Volume 3 and MaRtoholic
In January 2010 DJ MaRto announced the releases of two extended plays. First one titled "Exclusive Club Mixes" including one Bulgarian and a remix of the song Stin Pyra by the Greek singer Anna Vissi. The EP was released on June 4th.The second one - "Britney:Remixed" - a special compilation with all previously recorded remixes of Britney + new ones was released later on November 21. "Britney:Remixed" is reasonable continuation of my discography, because I'm a big fan of her and she's my biggest inspiration" said the DJ. In the summer of 2010, a friend of the DJ - Max joined the DJ MaRto's creative team. On 30 of July he posted the demo of his new club remix of Preslava - Jenite Sled Men. On 2 of September the final version of the remix was released as a bonus track on the re-release of "Exclusive Club Mixes". As of September 2010 the DJ started work on new projects. In October he posted 2 new promos of his latest bulgarian remixes. On October 31 he announced that [he] is mainly working on Bulgarian Volume 3, which "will be full of dance mixes" as he says. In December 2010, DJ MaRto released his first remix from "Volume 3". He also made a megamix of Lady GaGa's extended play - "The Fame Monster" for Lady Gaga's Bulgarian Fan Club, which was released on May 21 the following year, 2 days before the Lady Gaga's second album release. In February 2011 DJ MaRto released an "eastern remix" of Rihanna's Rockstar 101 and the second remix from "Volume 3", Viktoria - Chocolate Therapy along with the Intro of the compilation.
In March the DJ released his first ever original mix - "Shade of Darkness". The EP for the mix was released on 18th July 2011. He joined the social network "Twitter" on 14 August 2011. His first official track "Follow Me" was released on 17 August via SoundCloud and Twitter. After small recording pause during August-September 2011 DJ MaRto revealed "DJ MaRto Essentials" playlist on 24 September and continue releasing and promoting his 2 latest projects - bulgarian "Volume 3" and the international project "MaRtoholic" confirmed to be the first self-produced instrumental album by the DJ. In October 8 he released his second track "Are You Ready". On 28th December he released third track off the album - All Night / That's Right. In January 2012 was made clear that there wont be more remixes from Volume 3 in favor of DJ MaRto's other project - MaRtoholic. The self produced album is expected to premiere in late May or in June.

The musical style of the dj is a mixture of pop,dance,house and electronic, but he likes to experiment with different genres.He is influenced by many pop,dance, R'n'B and house artists from late 90's and 00's such as Britney, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk. He also get inspiration from greatest DJs and producers like David Guetta, Timbaland, RedOne, Rock Mafia etc.
